Teen Banquet

My kids are homeschooled, so they don't attend things like the Prom -- that's why we enjoy this special Banquet through our church's Youth Group, where the kids can dress up and enjoy a night on the town at a fancy restaurant.

Of course, I had to run over for pictures but, sadly, the timing and location were less than ideal. In spite of that, I managed to get a few "winners" and, more importantly, capture some special memories.

French-and-Indian War Battle

Once in awhile, I like to take photos of an "event" for fun and memories. I had a great chance in early June with a French-and-Indian War battle re-enactment at Fort #4 in Charlestown, NH. As a history major and lover, I couldn't let such a grand opportunity pass me by (not to mention the great educational value for my kids,) so off I went with camera in hand. Luckily, we had great seats and passing clouds.
