Welcome! I am a photographer in north-central Wisconsin, based in Merrill and serving the Wausau area. I specialize in high school Seniors, children, portraits, and families. The D Family, 2013It was fun to "shoot" this family on their private property on top of a gorgeous mountain. We had a pond, field, apple trees -- just a dream location, unique to their photos. Here are some favorites of this beautiful family!
The B Family, 2013
This was a fun family shoot on their own property, just as the leaves were approaching peak. They managed three coordinated outfit changes, which is no small feat. Here are some highlights of the day:
Jordan, Class of '14 | Claremont Christian Academy ~ Claremont, NHI'm on a roll with guy Seniors! So much fun -- and this guy was a natural. He really relaxed and we got some great shots around town. (Not bad after delaying our shoot due to rain!) 1.) He really wanted a photo of himself playing the piano. It wasn't easy because we were shooting indoors, in low-light, and there was a lot of clutter around the piano, but I finally managed a good one.

"Glamour" Shoot
I ended the summer with a photo-shoot of my daughters and a friend at an abandoned barn/field. They had these amazing formal dresses and I had to use them for pictures. What a great location and amazing light! Here are some favorites.

School Portraits
One of my favorite model families! I take the kids' "school" photos and often Mom, too. (Great gift for Dad!) They are a beautiful family and good friends! My Boys
As most parents know, young boys are VERY hard to get portraits of (and, of course, they give their parents the hardest time!) But most simply don't like to sit there and "pose," so you have to run around and grab what you can! I did let my boys run and be silly, but I managed to get them to sit for a few seconds, too. Whew! What a workout! But so worth it. These are their 9- and 4-year portraits.

17.)Sweet, brother shot. The C Family
This shoot was quite a challenge -- 19 people and 6 individual families all within a larger family unit and on one of the hottest days of the summer! The upside was the great light and AMAZING setting! One of the family members owns a house on a lake in Vermont and we took advantage of that and other features on the property. Overall, very fun and successful.

The K Family, 2013
I had a great time getting to know this neat family recently. They contacted me because their only son had recently graduated and was getting ready to head off to college, so family portraits were in order! It was one of the hottest weekends in the summer, so quite the challenge to keep cool and collected and I think we did a great job! (Even their beloved dog was happy.) So fun.
