Welcome! I am a photographer in north-central Wisconsin, based in Merrill and serving the Wausau area. I specialize in high school Seniors, children, portraits, and families. The girls had beautiful dresses and flower crowns, so we went over to a gorgeous wild-flower field that I had been dying to use -- only to find out that we were too late and the flowers had withered away. Not to be derailed, we drove around until I found beautiful open field and perfect light. After that, we went downtown for some fun shots there. This was a great day to highlight this newly-turned 11-year-old and her sister.

The H Family, 2014I was privileged to shoot this family this summer. The father is a Pastor at a new church in West Lebanon, NH and they all have a long history in ministry. The kids have been homeschooled and are just amazing, intelligent, good kids. It was fun to re-connect with them all and catch up. We had a lot of fun and I hope you can see all the love and closeness in the results.
The F Family, Round 2I was privileged to have a 2nd session with this beautiful family, in order to include some children that were missing in round 1. We, also, wanted to focus on getting good portraits for the oldest daughter who lives some distance away. We went back to beautiful St. Gauden's in Plainfield, NH, which is full of seasonal foliage, historical buildings, and gorgeous landscape and light. Some highlights:
Jonathan, Age 5Here is my Jonathan -- baby #10! It's a challenging age for portraits, but I managed to get him to stop for a few.

Hannah, age 17I had to utilize my new-found location for my daughter's 17th birthday shoot. The light and setting were just perfect. She chose her own wardrobe and, even though she is shy by nature, really seemed at ease in front of my camera. Here is my beautiful Hannah in Plainfied, NH.
Poster Mini-ShootThis was a fun challenge for me. To shoot a poster for a young, local singer to be put up at various venues. They wanted the focus to be on her, but to include her musician without making it look much like a duet act. We tried different poses and settings and this was a mini-shoot, so only one outfit. The results were just what they wanted.
The F Family, 2014I was excited to photograph this family, especially when they suggested the grounds at local historic site, St. Gauden's in Plainfield, NH. I had never used this location, so was excited to see what it was all about. It wasn't a disappointment! So gorgeous and full of beauty and light. The mother informed me that she wanted to do a "Greek" theme for her two daughters. I wasn't sure what to expect with that and was delighted that she was, in part, inspired by the Greek columns, architecture, and statues on the grounds. In addition, she MADE both of the girls beautiful costumes and made sure to bring accessories and focus on the details, like makeup and hair. A photographer's dream! Here are a sampling of our day!
