I am grateful to have gotten some wonderful recognition this past week.  

First, I found that my photos of Gabe, Class of '16 was chosen as The Twelfth Year's "Image of the Week": http://thetwelfthyear.com/image-of-the-week-february-12-2016/

It was great to get a Senior from Springfield High School -- my first one!  And what a great representative!  Not only is Lizzie beautiful, but she has a natural smile and air about her that made photographer her a delight.  She was also one of the few girls I had this season, so a lot of fun for me to play with feminine poses and lighting.  I'll let the photos speak for themselves! 

This was a great family session at St. Gauden's garden in Plainfield, NH.  I love this spot because it is so diverse and beautiful.  Happily, we found a lot of spots for both group and individual poses.  I enjoyed getting to know the C family and their cute dog, too.  It was also a bonus to have a few red-heads again, as well as their brother, Jeremy, whose Senior portraits I had done a few weeks before.

I like to get individual portraits of each family member, a few couple shots, parent-and-child and sibling shots.

It was great to see the sun peek through at the end of the session.

I am still working to update this blog, but wanted to pause and THANK everyone for their business and support.  It's been an amazing year, full of (business) ups and down.  A somewhat active spring followed by a very slow summer then -- BAM! -- a lot of work in the fall.   I take the winter off to focus on other areas of my life, but it is also a time to refresh, learn some things, re-vamp my website, order business enhancers, and practice indoor and winter scenes.  All good and necessary for me to grow and offer the best product possible.

I met this young man and his family this fall and was honored to take both his Senior portraits and those of his family (two sesssions.)  We had a great day here in Claremont, NH and a little color to add to the scene.  We got a mix of nature and "small-town urban," including the fun, steel bridge down-town.  Here is Jeremy, high school Senior at Lebanon High School!

I had a fun mini-session with singer, Evelyn Cormier, and her band this summer.  They are a local act who perform at various venues and hope for bigger things in the future.  

The main focus is Evelyn in these promotional posters and they wanted something in a natural and unique setting.  There are plenty of trees around here, but we were thrilled to find this cool stone structure for some of the shots.  

Evelyn is a natural and that made the shots easy and fun.  Photographing a band is a unique experience and one I look forward to tackling again in the future.
